Automate reporting distribution, from data to delivery, with Qlik NPrinting.

This one-day training gives your team operational mastery of NPrinting to generate multi-format reports from Qlik Sense apps (PDF, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, HTML, PixelPerfect/Qlik Entity), then automate delivery by email, to folders, or via the user portal - with the right filters, conditions, and access rules to keep distribution reliable and controlled.

Connection & control

Participants set up the NPrinting project, connect to Qlik Sense, refresh metadata when needed, and build the filters that drive targeted output personalization (static and dynamic logic, evaluated values, advanced search, exclusions).

Templates & multi-format outputs

Participants learn how to create reusable templates and produce reports across formats (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, HTML, PixelPerfect/Qlik Entity). They master loops/levels (Levels), layout constraints, and preview-driven iteration to ensure stable, consistent output.

Automation, governance & monitoring

Participants orchestrate delivery through publishing tasks: destinations (email, folders, portal), triggers/scheduling, conditions, recipients/groups, and execution monitoring to quickly diagnose failures and keep the reporting routine reliable over time.

Continuous skills validation

Each module builds on the previous one: connection → filters → templates → publishing. Participants apply the same logic across multiple formats and delivery scenarios, anchoring key habits and transferring skills to day-to-day operations.

From Qlik Sense to automated delivery: Qlik NPrinting in 1 day

Introduction - The role and place of NPrinting

‍Position NPrinting within the Qlik ecosystem and understand the flow: app → templates → tasks → destinations.

Module 1 - Setup: project, connection, metadata, filters

‍Participants lay the foundations: creating the NPrinting project, connecting to Qlik Sense, understanding metadata refresh, then configuring the filters that drive personalization and distribution (including advanced behaviors and common pitfalls).

Module 2 - Report creation: templates & multi-format outputs

‍Participants build and iterate on multi-format reports (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, HTML, PixelPerfect/Qlik Entity). They learn how to place Qlik objects, manage layout, use loops/levels (Levels) for repeated sections, and validate through previewing for reusable, predictable templates.

Module 3 - Publishing: scheduling, destinations, conditions

‍Participants automate delivery via publishing tasks: output formats, recipients/groups, applying filters at the right level, email content or output folders, triggers/schedules, and conditions to control when reports should (or shouldn’t) be sent.

Module 4 - Operations essentials & troubleshooting

‍Participants learn the habits to operate NPrinting reliably: monitoring task execution, reading errors, organizing distribution groups, and practical settings to prevent recurring template and rendering issues.
